Eligibility: FOR MEDICAL: ESSENTIAL - A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956; A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Biochemistry) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post; The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. FOR NON-MEDICAL: ESSENTIAL - Master's degree (regular course recognized by UGC or equivalent) viz. M.Sc. Biochemistry/Medical Biochemistry; Ph.D degree in the concerned discipline/subject of an Indian University/Institute or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a Foreign University/Institute recognized by the University Grants Commission. Experience required: FOR MEDICAL: 3 years teaching and research experience, in a recognized Institution in the concerned/allied subject of specialty after obtaining the degree of MD. FOR NON-MEDICAL: 3 years teaching and/or research experience, in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Ph.D. Degree. Age limit: up to 50 years as stated in the notice. Registration: State Medical Council/MCI registration (for medical candidates).
Remuneration: Rs. 1,01,500 – 1,67,400 in pay matrix under 07th CPC plus NPA (for medical personnel) (Level 12). The official notice is authoritative on pay.
